New Investment Ideas.....

For the past few years, I have been utilizing Dividend Reinvestment Plans also known as DRIPS or Direct Investment Plans to invest money for the long term in the stock market. These plans enable ordinary folks like you and I to invest without the aid or hindrance of a stockbroker with no or minimal fees in many cases. When you find a company to invest in, you still have to do your own research, make your own decisions to buy or not buy, decide how long or short that you retain this holding. It is a program designed for you to buy and hold a stock, not the quick draw, buy today and sell next week, the entire system operates too slowly for that. I cannot give you any investment advice, nor can I recommend any specific stock or other investment idea. However the only advice that I will give you is to read everything that they send you, read the annual report, check other publications and find other information to either defend or defer your decision, this is very important. I cannot and will tell you what to do with your money, except that you should do something with aside from spending it or stuffing it in that old mattress in the guest room.

I have included a couple of places that you can check out to round up a list of companies, I use both of these folks. I am only offering these up as a place to start and get ideas, I do not endorse either of these folks.

As I find some more I will provide the listings as well. Good Luck and happy investing.
